Today is our 8th anniversary. I took a dozen red roses to my wife's office because, let's face it, getting flowers is good but getting flowers in front of your entire workplace is on a whole other level.

Tonight I will have food ready when Mrs. M walks through the door then we'll probably watch Dancing With The Stars because that's what we do on Tuesdays.

    EDIT - 14:48:

Jeepers! It is 72 degrees outside right now and it's supposed to snow tonight. I say it's high time to go run with the dogs, it might be my last opportunity for a while because I hate the cold and won't run or do much of anything until it gets warm again.

  • Happy Anniversary! I'm sure the wife was extremely pleased with the roses. Everyone loves flowers at work, nice touch! Dancing with the Stars results show...how romantic

ryc: lol, I could, the sun IS shining today afterall! I'm less upset now though, but I still want to at least stomp on his big toe with my heels! That would make me feel even better!

  • ryc on the fish picture...yes I did. It was a beast

  • happy anniversary. you rock! and, yes, getting flowers at work is "da bomb".

what kind of music is that cd? there aren't samples of it on amazon. it looks very interesting.

  • happy anniversary!

  • Happy hibernating. Any snow yet?

And you're so right about the flowers thing. In the husband department, you're pretty dang sharp, there.

    Happy Anniversary, too.

  • I learned that flowers in front of co-workers on totaly random occasions have an even BETTER payoff!  lol

  • However, bringing your spouse a bowling ball with your name on it in front of co workers has an undesirable effect. Also avoid farting in front of her co workers.

  • You've been married almost as long as I have.  We celebrate our ninth this coming June 26.

And I appreciated the recent comment you made.  Thanks much.
