I've been creative lately. On Saturday, I went to the Home Depot, picked up some cedar, went home and started cutting it up on the table saw.
After I cut up the wood, I sanded, glued and put outdoor wood screws into it until it was eventually shaped like this:
Adirondack Chair
Not bad for a weekend and it is very comfortable too!

Beautiful chair! Did you have a kit or pattern of some kind? It looks perfect!

I wish I had your home improvement/woodworking savvy. I'm lucky I can barely nail a picture to the wall.
Sweet! Those are some of the most comfortable chairs ever!
Actually, the post was intended to reference the Aug 9 post.
That is a beautiful chair.
now you just have to make a matching foot-rest and side table!
Jeepers MiKi, I can't respond to this, your site is blockaded. Anyhoo, I do have drawerings and I intend to make a table. I'm almost afraid to make a foot rest because I'll fall asleep in it and get devoured by mosquitos. Yes, I said drawerings.
But can you lean back in it?
Tubby
Yes, you can lean back in it. You should drop by and try it!
Now that's what I call a chair.
Who gets to sit on it?
The beauty of it is, anyone can sit on it!
drawerings?
'tis my new favorite word.
fabulous chair! i always wanted one...if i send you some cedar, can you make me one just like it?
