Crop loss in southeastern Kansas because of flooding.
We were talking with a friend who has farmed in that region for over 30 years and he reported that he has about 20 acres out of 800 that are going to yield crops this year.

Wow. Drought here, floods there.
the north is warmeing up, too. the temperatures go up, up, up every year and this year (despite what us non-meteorologists think of all the rain), is the warmest yet. this is not right, although i'm not complaining about the summer right now. global warming is starting to affect everyone: below freezing temps in florida isn't right, either!
