I was surfing this evening and came across this gem.
These people are dead serious too. This might be a problem if there
were a lot of clowns around but I just don't have very much clown
contact. This could just ruin it for fans of one of my favorite
B-movies, Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
Clown Phobia?
Imagine What Your Life Would Be Like Without Coulrophobia and Fear of Clowns

Nooooooo, say it ain't so!
Shaun of the Dead is awesome. For good creepy clown flicks, get House of 1000 Corpses. There's a clown to be scared of.
That ad is creepy within itself.
Could be worse....could be fear of peanut butter.
i dont know what to say to that
i don't fear clowns, i just hate them. but i am sure going to keep my eyes peeled for 'killer klowns'. kool!
Wow, that is a gem. Like you said, how many clowns does a person come into contact with on a day to day basis? These people must be highwire walkers, elephant trainers, lion tamers... the circus' circle of clownophobes... which makes one wonder, what do they know that we don't?
I scanned the Phobia List on that site, too. I wonder how many friends people have who are phobic about washing, bathing, or cleaning? How do you deal with a fear of colors, or of itching, or of water? In this day and age, how many documented cases are there of fear of Bolsheviks?
I'm trying to find the scientific term for the fear of phlebotomists.
Fear of air? Never would have imagined.
Yes, I agree. The article (if it could be called such) was ludicrous. =]
ryc: THANKS for the link! i wanted to use 'creepy' a lot more in my blurb, but there's a limit to its use....or maybe not...it's cruise after all...creepy is as creepy does.
ha!
Clowns are scary. No two ways about it. It's not a phobia if your fear is justified. I mean....they don't talk, they paint their faces to hide their identities...they load into cars by the dozens..how the hell do they do that? C'mon man, you think this shit is funny?

Yeah it is funny, in fact, the other day I played a blank tape a full volume and the mime across the street went crazy.
Ah, Shaun of the Dead =]
"To a wonderful Mum."
